Scratchy wool pants

I got a pair of Noel Howard pants last week. I must say after
putting them on and inspecting them that they are pretty hard to
duplicate with an "off the rack" pair of khakis. The cut is what
really makes them stand apart and adds tremendously to the
Indy look. Any way now back to the subject of this post. Does
anyone that owns a pair feel that they are a little "scratchy"
feeling? In keeping with the era that they are supposed to be
from, they are made of wool. probably also why they have to be
dry cleaned. Does anyone have a solution to this, like having a
thin lining put into them for instance? Can this be done?
