Here's an interesting question - How hard is it to " home dye" an Akubra Fed hat?

Maybe we finally could get that perfect wonderful rich mid/dark/mink/sable brown that just seems to fall in between all the hats that are currently for sale (PB, HJ, Miller, etc.)

What would that entail? That way you could really get exactly the color you want. What do you think?

I'm gonna leave my "customizing" and "hat chopping" to the Akubra Federation.

They are great "working" hat's and are cheap enough to screw up!

I also have a Mid-Grey Fed on order and that should be fun to chop and customize!
