The russet is lighter brown - the tanning method and the color are independant of each other...(nm)

Do you think this is the same exact leather you are talking about when you refer to the "veg goat"? I've seen it implied that the "veg goat" and the "seal brown goat" are the same things. I know that FS offers a chrome tanned "seal brown" goatskin as well. It's the problem I've had with the reference to the color by the tanning method. It's my understanding that just because it's vegetable-tanned, doesn't mean it's any particular color, just as all leather shoes are vegetable-tanned and come in any assortment of color.
