I remember it vividly. Until I saw the movie, wondered why Han Solo appeared to be wearing a black t-shirt under his safari shirt in that pic of him holding the whip (not that it would have been unfashionable in 1981, mind).
One day towards the end of the 9th class year, my English instr. had two stacks of press flyers he had obtained somewhere. One stack was for a fantasy flick called "Dragonslayer", which had most of the kids oohing and ahhing, because it had a dragon and knights and blah blah. They were proclaiming it to be that year's hot new thing. I remember being the only kid who thought that the Raiders movie looked more interesting and fun... I was shunned by them and cast out of the fold of junior high collegiality. Yet I knew that one day I would have my revenge...
Well, better get on over to the DragonslayerFan Forum... HA!
