No way! I didn't double-click! Sometimes it just happens! And as for the padding, yeah. Don't I always add it?

: Don't be insulted, but did you double-click the button? One click is all you need. I post from a Mac regularly and don't have that problem. There is a weird problem where IE/Mac sometimes cuts of the the last line or so of the post, requiring some padding to be safe.
