Lee has done an excellent job getting the right English tack buckle, i.e. it is the right size, thickness, and sits the right way - not pushing the strap forward too much, but still holding snug. The back of Lee's strap is unfinished with respect to pigment, but the leather is smooth and looks right. The color is correct on the Raiders strap I have from Lee - better than the "reddish" straps I've seen from Noel, but I don't know what version they were supposed to be. These were some of the infamous "red dye" straps that had ruined a few shirts.
