Try holding one in one hand and your average boot in the other. The Aldens are remarkably heavy. It makes them resilient, yet tiresome when you walk for a long time. Oh, well, win some, lose some..

IS

: Has anybody wore their Aldens on a longer-than-20min hike? I wore mine today while visiting a historical site where I did a substantial amount of walking over various surfaces, IE concrete, gravel, dirt, etc., and after a while my feet started to feel a little sore.

: Has anyone else experienced sore feet initially with Aldens? Is this maybe still part of the "breaking-in" process, or are Aldens not the best shoe choice to wear while doing more than a normal day's walking?
: In other words, if I were to take a trek through the South American jungle in search of a lost idol should I leave the Aldens at home?
