Aldens shifty tongues

ok I remember we discussed this once upon a time, but what
was the general consensus on how to solve the "shifty tongue"
problem in the Aldens, i.e. after walking for a few moments, both
tongues slide to the right instead of staying centered. My local
shoe repair guy said for 12 bucks he can attach some elastic to
either side of the tongue and the boot also, to hold the tongue in
place.

The tongue is not wide enough to stitch it itself to the booton the
sides, so i think this is a good solution too.
