Will the real Indy hat come forward?

Just a curious note here, what with all the talk about "how my hat looks like Indy's" or "what are the dimensions?" and so much crap like that. Well, I just wondered what ever happened to the one Mr. Ford wore in ROTLA? Did he keep it?
or is it in the Smithsonian?
or what?
Anyway, it has probably been mentioned before but I don't get caught up in too much of this stuff.
