Some have conjectured that it's the same diamond that Indy and Remy sought in Young Indiana Jones and the Treasure of the Peacock's Eye. After seeing this episode and believing it, it is easy to see why Indy would have wanted a diamond over the ashes of a Chinese emperor.

Does anyone else like this connection?
