Did anyone get the "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" DVD?

They recently released that Spielberg classic on DVD. The extras aren't as much as they possibly could have been (I want some commentary tracks, Steven!), but the quality of them very nicely outweighs the quantity of the extras if you ask me. :)

Anyways, they had some interesting cut scenes, especially one in which Lacombe (Francois Truffaut, who's pretty much Belloq's doppelganger [in looks] in this movie! I swear! He'd make an awesome Belloq, even if his English wasn't very good) has his translator translate some stuff from a cheesy French romance novel. That scene would have ruined the tone of the movie (and most of the other cut scenes too) if it stayed, but man, was it ever hilarious! It was also noticeably UN-Spielbergian.

Let's hope there's some cool cut scenes on the future Indy DVDs like that one! :)
