Thanks so much for your views -- they were intelligently written, and understandable.

When we post a commentary, we will explain the rationale behind our selections. Some of the other entries were phenomenal -- but, for whatever reason, Micah and I agreed that they couldn't qualify for a prize. Again, this will be explained in more detail soon...

To compensate, we DID give honors (though not prizes) to a variety of other entries, which will be listed on the 18th (Monday).

The selection this year was a difficult one, and Micah and I disagreed more here than we did last year. The end result, I believe, was one of mutual compromise.

Again, these are our choices, and as such, they are subjective. Anyone and everyone is welcome to disagree. You have every right to express your opinion, and of course, we are happy to listen...
