If you base your movie-going decisions on what critics say, then you'll miss out on a lot of great films.

I feel that Ebert is one of the ONLY critics left who has anything viable to say about movies. I met him at the last Toronto International Film Festival, and he's truly a great guy, and he knows his movies!

Finally, the only thing different between film critics and the people that have been "slagging" Tomb Raider etc...on this forum is money!

Everyone has an opinion, and some people get paid for it.
