Worrying about TR being bad for Indy is like worrying that the Backstreet Boys' popularity will hurt The Beatles. Don't you realize that nearly every review/headline of Tomb Raider made a reference to the Indy films? In 20 years, who do you think they will remember most?

But there ARE two things to consider about TR's success.

1. Let's hope Paramount doesn't decide that it would be perfect for Indy to have a kung-fu daughter doing wire-work.

2. You know Paramount is itching to cash-in on this new success, and the most likely timeframe would put the sequel two years from now. Unfortunately, this is when Indy 4 should come out if given the greenlight this year. Since they'll probably want to strike while the iron is hot, let's hope they pencil in the TR sequel for 2002 instead, maybe during the holidays?
