My wife and I tried out our new metal detector yesterday. She's wanted one for years, so we finally bit the bullet and got one. The first thing we found was a penny. Good start. How's this Indy related? Well, the second thing the detector located was under a picnic table at a local park, and it was buried 4 inches deep in gravel and hard, packed dirt. When it was finally dug up, it was only a bottle cap, but when it was cleaned up, we found it was a cap/game piece from the Pepsi Indiana Jones Last Crusade game that was held during the Summer of 1989. I have a full cup of these caps in my collection (a picture can be seen at IndyGear), so needless to say, the new detector has found favor in my eyes. (grins) Now I hope you understand my "subject" heading. Regards. Michaelson
