It took the Wings several days to soak up the Pecards, where the Wested was overnight. Not sure about the new finish pre-distressed, but can't think of any reason why it would be any different. Regards. Michaelson

: It has been a few years since I picked those Wested's up. Peter very clearly called the predistressed "lambtouch" when he and I were discussing the fact that his website would lead a person to believe all his Indy jackets are made from lamb products. I should clarify that I prefer the US Wings hide, as it appears to hold up better and was less prone to spotting from water. The Wested soaked up the Pecards like nothing I've ever seen, while the US Wings was much less so. I think you could attest to this? Anyway, the look of the finish - dark brown cracked finish over natural beige cowhide - appears to be the same to me.

: Cheers!
