I guess the important thing is that you bought it at the time. I don't think Lucas and Spielberg ever intended for guys like us to disect every inch of their films. Of course it sure is fun. The problem I am having today is that I don't buy what happens in today's movies even the first time I see 'em. Regards

: : : Has anyone ever noticed how easily Indy was able to lift and hold that 25 lb. solid gold idol with one hand? If solid gold is as heavy as solid lead then this is not something done very easily. Also, how could he ever think that a bag of sand would be as heavy as a "solid gold" idol? In fact, he even removes some sand for accuracy. That's what I love about Indy, a man with a few faults and bad judgments. Anyway, I'm sure some of you would like to say that the idol was hollow, but since when did ancient Peruvians master casting techniques?
