Well when I bought mine about 3 years ago, they charged the card right away. Got the jacket 7 weeks, 2 days later, on Mothers day. If the british pound is still high compared to the dollar as someone said awhile ago, you may to just go ahead and charge it now. Gonna have to pay for it sooner or later anyway right?
