HELP! HJ fedora or Wested Jacket?

I've recently set aside enough "play" money to purchase a HJ fedora or a Wested leather jacket. I would like to hear from Indy fans that have already purchased one or both of these items to see how they felt about the quality,look and value. Honestly, I wanted to buy the fedora but the photos I've seen do not look like the "Raiders" hat to me (maybe it is the picture) but, on the other hand, I've read nothing but good comments about the Wested jacket. If you could give me your opinions based on your experiences, I would greatly appreciate it.
