I like this hat as well, and I can see your point. I think this slant comes from the shape of the very top of the crown before bashing. It has a rounder shape,as opposed to a squared off shape. This shows up when all the bashes are put in. Since the very top of the crown is more rounded, the pinch slants in a bit more. I do like this fedora though, especially the color. Maybe it's the angle of the photo, but the top doesn't seem to have the open clam look. Like, someone tried to get some extra height out of the crown, and had to forego this particular look. The streets of Cairo had the crown pushed up like this hat appears to have, but the end result is not the same. Regards, Fedora
