That means "Watch your butt" or even "Take care of yoursevlf". The six o'clock position is directly behind the airplane. "Check six" means what I just said. It's generally used when Pilot 1 warns Pilot 2 of a bogey right behind Pilot 1's plane. When I end my posts with "Check six", I mean "Take care of yourselves". When you read enough Tom Clancy, you begin to pick up little bits of trivia like this. :-)

PS. I'm pretty sure you're not the youngest - Elendil and Indy were each at least a year or two behind me when I was fifteen (I'm sixteen as of this Oct. 2). You're still pretty young though. Take pride in who you are.
