I mean, the whole raft thing in TOD was a bit of a stretch--even for me--and that was when good movies were being made. Imagine "Indiana Jones and the Asteroid Headed for Earth." Or even an Atlantis plot. I can see it now, the Nazis sprout gills and go to fight the people of Atlantis. Miraculously, Indy sprouts gills, too, and goes off to help defend Atlantis. He falls in love with a beautiful mermaid who is killed as the battle reaches its climax. The Atlantasians are victorious, but then the undersea community perishes in a violent volcanic eruption at the end as Indy surfaces and loses his gills.

Do we really want to see Indy, under water with whip, hat, coat, and........gills?
