: This might be considered slightly off topic, but I noticed that
: many of you on the forum are leather flight jacket fans. There is a
: book, "Hell Bent for Leather" that traces the development and
: history of mostly the A-2 and G-1 jackets. I have had this book for
: nearly ten years and am not sure that it is even in print anymore.
: Regardless, it is an excellent resource if you are interested in
: flight jackets. It also profiles jacket manufactures such as Flight
: Suits, Eastman, and Willis and Geiger It even has a section in
: the back on Hollywood and has a blurb on the Indy jacket's
: development and how it is similar to an A-2 in some ways.
: Cheers

I own that book! If you go to the section of painted flight jackets(Noseart)my jacket was Tora Tora with my ex-girlfriend as the model.
I havent seen Mike Harney in ten years. I would love to find him and have him paint another jacket
