While watching 'Crusade'....

...I came to the realization that my "Raiders" Wested is in fact, closer to the jacket featured in the 3rd film. The overall shape and appearance of Indy's jacket in 'Crusade' resembles my Wested almost perfectly. The pockets, the position of the side-straps, even the collar. With the exception of the press studs on the storm flap and the degree of distressing, I'd say my Wested is a dead-ringer.

One thing I noticed about the 'Crusade' jacket is that at no point throughout the whole film do the action-pleats work correctly. They are splayed open and stretched outta shape exactly like my Wested's are.

I purchased my "Raiders" Wested back in '99, so they either gave me a "Crusade" version by mistake, or all their jackets at that time utilized the 'Crusade' design.
