A direct Indy/Mummy connection

Watched a new "Cinema Secrets" program last night on AMC. Apparently the stunt coordinator who was resposible for creating the Well of Souls scene (where Indy rode the statue down to knock the hole through the wall to excape) was the individual who ALSO did the falling column scene at the beginning of Mummy II. It was indeed to recall the scene of the falling bookcases seen in the first Mummy movie. Needless to say the parallel reminded folks of the Raiders scene, and it was all done by the same action coordinator! Good eye, folks! Regards. Michaelson
