I just let mine set overnight, whipe off the excess and take it out for a workout. As stated, they are real working whips, and are meant to be used. That's the best way to loosen them up. I've had a couple 8 footers from MA, and still have a 10 footer - I'd guess mine relaxed within a few weeks?
