If anyone would like to try a new concept, try this. Louis L'Amour, the great western writer, also wrote several novels that have a more recent timeline, but are still set in the western areas of the US. If there was one written that should have been an Indiana Jones adventure, it would be "The Haunted Mesa". If you want to enjoy an excellent book, and in your mind substitute Indy's name in the place of Mr.L'Amour's hero, you will have in your hand a most enjoyable story that I believe would translate very well to the screen. It follows our kind of thinking that we want to see Indy involved, and yet it doesn't dealve into the same old formula that we have found ourselves reading. I highly recommend this one to all of you. It definately is a good read! Regards.
