Yeah the last time I checked, DM was chargin' like $605 for a 10ft whip, which is RIDICUOUS(Mine cost around $500 back in '99, which is thought was NUTS). From what I've seen and heard, USWings sells Mark Allen whips for even LESS than Western Stage Props, albeit they only offer 'em in "natural tan".

So take from my comments what you will, although I will tell you this, after cracking both a DM and a MA I'd lean towards the MA more, seeing as the construction of the MA's "fall" is much more stable. My DM's fall is way closer to needing repair than my MA is.
