Well folks, I have just returned from an evening at the Bowl. And once again, I was blown away. Here was the playlist for tonight, and will be repeated tomorrow (Saturday).

----------------------------------------------------------------------

In this order:

Jubilee 350 (written for the 350th Anniversary of Boston)

Cowboys Overture

Excerpts from The Witches of Eastwick

Celebration 2000, accompanying the Steven Speilberg film "The Unfinished Journey. Narrated by Anna Deavere Smith and Paul Winfield.

----Intermission----

The Flight to Neverland from "Hook"

Excerpts from "Fiddler on the Roof"

Remembrances from "Shindler's List"

Theme from "Jurassic Park"

Theme from "A.I."

Two pieces from "Superman"
Love Theme
March

Flying Theme from "E.T."

----------------------------------------------------------------------

First off, let me just say that "The Unfinished Journey" was beautiful. Not to mention emotional.

Of the past 5 years of seeing John at the Bowl, this was the first time he's played Superman. And let me say WOW. I can proudly say that I was tearing up during this one. I had been wanting him to play Superman for years, and now it's finally happened!!!

And last but not least, I don't want to give anything MAJOR away, but I will say that the place went nuts when he played a CERTAIN song. **cough cough** dun da dun dun.....dun da dun......

See you guys tomnorrow night @ Hamburger Hamlet!!!
