Great Idea for Indy 4-what to you think?

I have heard rumors about Indy's brother in INDY 4, but why not incorperate a subplot into the film where indy finds out he has a son (from some former exotic love on an adventure)rather than a brother. You could have 3 generations of Jones' and way for the franchise to move on in the future. Also It would be great to see Indy's slow transformation into more like Henry Sr. Everyone begins to see themselves more like their father as they get older, hate it and realize their dad was not so bad and come to respect them. Indy could feel what it is like to be a father and to be resented, as the kid might. The kid could have a nack for history, or some other field to make for further misunderstandings on the adventure. He could stumble on the kid when he goes to get help from an old flame only to find she was killed and kid runs the business. It would further deepen the chemistry between Connery & Ford and make the film better all around.

Just wanted to share the thought.

  • The best idea for Indy 4? DON'T make it. They'll ruin it w/digital crap, a crap story and Lucas's renewed interest will cause his legal people to crack down on all resources for gear and custom props and the like.
