Although not in 'Raiders'. No I saw the discrepancy in a photograph from 'Temple of Doom'(should be displayed above, if not click link below).

It's that classic pose of Indy holding the sword and whip. The handle on Indy's "David Morgan" appears much longer than the one I own. When I position my hand on my whip in the same fashion, well over half the handle is covered by my hand.
