Never been any doubt to me it was "shift", as when the rider in the back of the jeep crawls backward from the back seat to avoid the T-rex's jaws, his "rump" shoves the stick shift into 2nd gear, keep them from being able to pull it rearward to 3rd to out run the T-rex. She's yelling "shift" to get the driver to pull into 3rd, but he can't until the rider gets off the shifter, though the other would be appropriate as well in that circumstance, it's not what she's referring to.
