Yeah sure, the whips are hand-made, yadda yadda. But what Belloq pointed out is that the HANDLES are different lengths now compared to what we see Indy using.

Now I'm no whip expert, but I'd wager that the inside solid part of the handle is some sort of wood or similar substance, which must be cut to length for each whip. I think it's safe to say the these wood pieces should be near identical in length.
