I'd agree with Michaelson on this, and add that I believe Peter's sizing runs a bit trim, relative to other jacket alternatives out there. One thing I've run into with this is the way the upper arm is cut; a Wested being cut trim leaves those of us with a weight lifting habit a bit constrained. This is easily fixed by telling Peter the issue - they simply lower the armpit on my jackets by about an inch. This way I have plenty of room for my arms. I think the best comparison I can think of relates to an authentic A2 fit and cut, vs. what the hardcore A2 fanatics would call a modern pattern, i.e. oversized. Wested has that trim cut of an authentic pre-WWII A2 pattern, which looks great as long as you're not planning on wearing a sweater. If you want more room, go up a size. I, however, think the look is more accurate for the Wested when you order your true size. Besides, ever seen Indy in a sweater? (grin)
