I beat myself black and blue learning to use the $60 swivel handle whip I had when I was 10 years old. I was suprised to find when I bought my Mark Allen 20 years later, that I could still use it...target work...several techniques for cracking it etc...what a blast!! The first time I took it out in the backyard and that slicing throught the air sound and tremendous CRACK reverberated through my neighborhood...I thought I'd never stop grinning. As for swinging on it...never. I'm sure most folks here know the ones used in the movies were steel wire reinforced.
