Was it ever in theatres? I saw it on TV and it had extra scenes- Whip getting blind drunk and "Rainman", the Coast Guard chopper pilot making out with the buxom Hadley. Anyway, this movie is so much better than Jaws or Perfect Storm--gorgeous scenery and photography--no CGI and a decent rubber squid- romance all over the place -and a really great soundtrack. It was a little quirky because it was filmed in Australia and pretended it was Washington state, It looked tropical and half the actors were Australian and couldn't hide their accents. I think they had a lot of insane fun making it because of this.
