While in the service, stationed in Japan for 1 year. Saudi Arabia/Kuwait 7 months. And was detailed to Norway for 4 weeks. Recommend Norway to anyone going anywhere near there, it is a must stop. Very, very expensive, but the people are so friendly, the beer so good, and the atmopshere so great it is worth every single dime. I was there when a local soccer team was in a big tournament, dont remember if it was the world cup or what, but believe me the place was rockin. Actually the locals bought us most of the beer when they heard we were from the USA. They will treat us Yanks very well, unlike some other countries I've been too and heard about.
