On the subject of JP3 and Sam Neals' hat...

I've heard a lot of rumbling about the hat Sam Neal wears, and when I went to see JP3 on Friday, I was quite disappointed - by the hat and the cop-out ending.

The hat is a nice safari-type fedora, but it is short and tapered like every other easy to find fedora. The narrow band may make it look taller, but it ain't no Indy hat, folks. Not even close…

I enjoyed the movie immensely, but the ending was stupid and lazy. Just land a few Huey's with some Seals – I’ll buy it. Come on, the guy in the suit? Two aircraft carriers? Landing craft? It's like they do such a great job for over 90 minutes, and then say, "Well, I'm tired - just slap an ending together..."

Anyway...
