On the jacket, scuttlebutt is the RotLA jacket was a size 40, while the LC jacket was a 44. Harry settled a bit over 8 years (grin). As to sleeve, blah, blah, blah - I've put measurements of an original RotLA jacket out there, but do not have ready access right now. Check the vaults.

On the hat - size 7 1/4. HJ (ala Mr. Swales) has confirmed the crown to be 6 inches unbashed, with the brim cut dimensionally (2 7/8 front and back, 2 3/4 sides). The ribbon was 39mm very dark brown (almost black) Petersham. He has 'confirmed' other contradictory specifications as well, and upon various occasions...

On the rest of the stuff? LOL! Well, ask Chris King what he's gone through on the same quest it sounds like you are entertaining.
