: It is the one where it was NOT a Borsalino that I'm trying to reproduce (grin). I believe that particular hat in the caring and highly skilled hands of Joe Peters could be one hell of a Raiders fedora. The crux will be the maximum crown height - gotta get to 6 inches.

I modified a Borsalino but i ended up giving it to a friend after i bought my Herbie J about 6 years back.Im kicking myself as the price on a Borsalino these days is almost unmentionable.Now it seems that Herbie J are/were supllied shells by Borsalino anyway.
