Raiders stunt men question

Anyone know why the stuntmen in Raiders never wore their hats just like HF? You can always tell the difference. The stunt men wore the brim on the hats flat, not tipped like HF. In my opinion, if they would have just tipped the brim down and the sides up, you wouldn't be able to tell a difference at all! Were the hats given to them not as up too parr because they weren't used in close-ups? Anyone have any answers, please let me know. Thanks.
