: I have taken some measures to track fake posters, but it may not be enough. I really don't what to add a registration system, as it could chase away the casual poster. But if this keeps up, who knows...

Thought #1: We can all see at a glance that a screenwriter isn't going to simply tell the world of his plans, especially by starting on a fan forum. No one was fooled, no harm done.

Thought #2: Then again, if there's a six year old kid annoying anyone polite enough to respond to his set-ups, and his parents aren't around, that "no harm done" argument gets tossed out the window -- along with the kid.

Of course, that's just stating the obvious. Well, I guess I'd better think of something worthwhile to say, then... Aha! Got it!

Maybe we should just have one of those Festivals of the Dead we always see in James Bond movies. For say, three days, everybody pretends to be an anonymous high-ranking official at Lucasfilm, and spouts heaps of unvalidated rumours, thus either scaring away the impostors, or else making it no fun for them. Hey, I'd be up for it.
