Maybe I'm just still angry about my recent battle (long story), but I wouldn't take that crap. The notion that someone would ship an untreated hide is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Secondly, that's one Hell of an assumption on their part. After opening the package and realizing it was a jacket what the Hell would possibly lead them to believe it was "diseased"?? Due their own mistake they probably called in the EPA or CDC (or whatever these agencies are down under) and created a 'goose chase' of false alarm investigation that probably cost THEM a nice chunk of change in penalties for not following their own protocol and just opening the package. Now, they're trying to screw YOU with the charges to offset the cost of their own stupidity. I'm telling you, man, the idea that it'll cost $300.00 plus dollars to "disinfect" a thing that never needed "disinfecting" is bull shit.
