I was surprised when I saw old Heston as the elderly ape. I was even more surprised by his little soliloqy; it was very close to being an endorsement of gun control. I didn't expect that from a higher-up in the NRA. Other than that, the movie left me non-plused. I still have a red spot from when I slapped my forehead so hard upon seeing the ending. And for the record, I certainly enjoy those great INDIANA JONES MOVIES starring HARRISON FORD as a ROUGH-AND-TUMBLE ARCHAEOLOGIST battling EVIL NAZIS.
