I think "Indy Jackson" sounds pretty damned cool and fun, comparatively.
What's wrong with satirizing and freestylin' what has become a rather aged and nearly lifeless pop culture franchise?
I mean, yeah, Indy's great fun and all; but in the absence of new and ongoing flicks, this so-called canon MUST be satirized a la roman a clef for there to be any continuing relevance (... or, as Seinfeld said, "hm... sex... to SAVE the friendship!").
In a bankrupt postmodern age when the political scum can rise to the top, and when the filth - I mean, film industry churns out mostly retread, remade junk in the name of "nostalgia" or attempts at a humored yuppie "irony", any even vaguely Swiftian stance has got claim to the attentions of whatever creative Muse hasn't yet caught the last Greyhound out of L.A.
