See my reply below to your original post. I talked with Jerry at Wested and his advice is to call Peter and discuss this with him over the phone. Depeding on how long ago your jacket was made, they may or may not be able to do something. It depends on how the straps have been put on and the stitching (different versions). Anyway, give them a call and they'll probably take good care of you. They've always taken good care of me and I think that they really strive to make their Indy fan customers happy.
