I agree with you on how awful ToD is. Every aspect of it is just plain bad. However, compared to Raiders, I like LC more mainly because of the superb character interaction between Sean Connery and Harrison Ford. Also, it seems to me that LC presented a more sentimental and "caring" Indy, compared to the sometimes cocky, arrogant Indy in Raiders. At any rate, Raiders and LC are my two absolute favorite movies, while ToD doesn't even come close.
