Actually, get a pair of Chicago screws from Tandy or like leather goods store and attach to your bag. These have the appearance of rivets, but can be unscrewed and removed with the strap should you ever need to wash your bag. The scematic on how to attach the strap can be found at IndyGear. Regards.
