My brother and I are really into ska music (courtesy of fellow Indyfan graml!) including Sublime, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, No Doubt, Reel Big Fish, The Specials, Madness, etc.

I'm also really into punk bands (The Clash, Ramones, Sex Pistols, Rancid, Blink-182, Sum 41, The Offspring).

Outside of punk and ska there's Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Beatles, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, AC/DC, Metallica, Radiohead, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Guns N' Roses, Coldplay, Travis, Stereophonics, Aerosmith, U2, The Police, Buddy Holly, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Bob Seger, Bruce Springsteen, R.E.M., MC5, Dave Matthews Band, well, the list goes on and on...

(and none of those bands were in any particular order...)

: Dave Matthews Band (easy to listen to while writing papers)
: Also like Weezer, Albert King, BB King, Buddy Holly, Bob Dylan, Radiohead, Nirvana, and Zebda (a French group). Like Jazz, Blues, and Classical too.
