I think that if a previously non-religious person saw that God was
manifestly real (and in an overwhelming and terrifying way), that
person might think "I'd better get with the program!" for their own sake.
But, people have their own personal/emotional/intellectual rationale
for their choices, so I can't predict.
BTW, the Indy series does NOT subscribe to the "Monotheistic" (one God ONLY)
view of things. Indy faces the powers of more than one Deity in the
course of his adventures. So why not bring on more? He can go to South
America and face (I'll take a stab at this) Quetzlecoatle and Huitzilopochtli
(*phew*). BUT, maybe we've all had enough of extracted human hearts :-q!
